Arizona Academy of Beauty-North

You'll easily find the school in a large, attractive shopping center. Its 6,000 square feet is fully air-conditioned and replete with three large classrooms, a student lounge area with lockers, 54 work stations, 15 dryers, large shampoo area, facial room and dispensary--everything you need to further your hands-on training in cosmetology or nail technology. The facility also has a reception area, administrative offices, laundry room and men's and women's restrooms. Vending and soda machines are located in the building to provide snacks for break time. In addition, we provide a refrigerator to store any items that are brought in for dining enjoyment and a microwave.

The ultra-modern facility is located in the Northwest area of Tucson in the Target Shopping Plaza and close to public transportation, housing and daycare facilities. Due to city ordinances, the building is completely non-smoking. Smoking is permitted outside in the rear of the building only.

Arizona Academy of Beauty-East

Its 6,000 square feet is full air-conditioned and replete with three large classrooms, a student lounge area with lockers, 80 work stations, 10 dryers, large shampoo area, facial room and dispensary--everything you need to further your hands-on training for your career in cosmetology or nail technology. The facility also has a reception area, administrative offices, laundry room and men's and women's restrooms. Vending and soda machines are located within the building providing snacks for break time. In addition, we provide a refrigerator to store any items that are bought in for dining enjoyment. A microwave is also available.

Both of our facilities are served by bus lines. Lighted parking areas surround both buildings, with restaurants within walking distance.

You'll find that our facilities simulate salon conditions to help our students learn by doing with modern equipment and a variety of supplies that help enhance our students' product knowledge. We have a full retail center with professional products available for public sale. Our students learn proactive managing of the reception desk, checking patrons in, answering the telephone and operating the cash register. Our students also learn inventory control and assist in operating our dispensary. Our objective is to help the student become salon ready.
