Licensing and Accreditation
The Arizona Academy of Beauty has been examined and approved by the National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts and Sciences (NACCAS) and by the Arizona State Board of Cosmetology. In addition, the United States Department of Education has recognized the Arizona Academy of Beauty to be in sound financial condition to operate as a school of higher learning and to participate in Title IV funding. With our accreditation, we are accepted by all Federal and State agencies for educational and financial aid. The Accreditation process is one of the most important professional processes in American higher education. It provides a quality assurance program form within the higher education community and professional associations. Accreditation strengthens the value of the diploma that every graduate of the Academy receives. Institutional approval must be reapproved every five years and is subject to continuing review. Approved are the courses: Cosmetology-1600 hours, Nail Techbology-600 hours and Instructor Training-650 hours. These programs meet Arizona State Board of Cosmetology standards for each program of study, which is necessary to become licensed. |
